So a couple of the dorms from Notre Dame put on a Kid's Carnival. They had a little petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, bounce houses and food - cotton candy, burgers, hotdogs and a Kahlua pig. Did I mention it was all FREE!?! I am so glad we went. Ryan Patrick had a blast. His favorite part was the petting zoo. They had food available to feed the animals and Ryan P. just kept going back to get more and more food. He had so much fun. He also got to ride the pony. I think mom and dad might have enjoyed that one a little more than Ryan Patrick. Let's not forget about the bounce house! Ryan Patrick got in there and flopped around with all the big kids. When it was time to get out, Ryan refused to get anywhere close to the exit so Dada had to go in there after him. (Should have gotten pictures of that.)
It was nice to go out and have fun as a family. Finals are just around the corner, so before too long Ryan will have to buckle down and get busy. We won't have quite as much time for fun and games. It's time to get SERIOUS!!!

Easter Party
All of our friends here at Notre Dame got together for a wonderful Easter Feast. We managed to get almost all the kiddos together for a picture. The first one turned out pretty good, but things quickly began to unravel, as you can clearly see.

New Haircut
So I wanted to donate some hair to Locks of Love. The catch: they need at least ten inches. Unfortunately, the guy cut my hair about two inches shorter than I wanted; but hey, I said I was going short.
Camels, Zebras, and going for a drive
About an hour south of OKC, there's a drive-through zoo called Arbuckle Wilderness. It's definitely worth a stop, if you ever find yourself in the area.

We drove through during Spring Break with Amy's parents, Amy's niece, Lena, and Amy's nephew Little John - hope you enjoy the photos.

The Giraffes
Ryan here - so that's my hand. If you want a good idea of what a giraffe's tongue feels like, click on the picture to enlarge. Be forewarned...it's not for the weak of heart...or stomach...

If you want to know how I felt about experiencing a giraffe's tongue wrapped around my hand, click on the above picture and look in the side-view mirror.
