Time To Go...

Hello everyone,

It's my 28th birthday today, and junior is now one week old. With all that age between us, I figured it's time we do something productive - so tomorrow we move! The movers are coming to pack up our furniture, and Amy, the boy, and I are leaving for South Bend on Monday. It will take us two or three days to make the trip, and once we're there it will take us a few days to "set up shop", so don't expect a new post for about a week or two. Once we have everything set up, I'll take some more pics of the house so that all of you can feel like you're there with us. Before we go, however, I thought I might share some photos of the boy at home (mostly so everyone can see how he gets his good looks from his father!).

Talk to everyone soon,
Ryan, Amy, & Ryan Patrick

Home at Last

We finally got to come home from the hospital. The last day and night were a bit rough. The baby had to stay under the light all day and night because of the Jaundice. (But according to Ryan's brother Ronny, we shouldn't complain...his twins spent about two months under those lights, so I guess we got off easy.) Nevertheless, Ryan Patrick was not happy about the situation at all; therefore, we didn't get much sleep. On the upside, we got the okay to come home today, so things are definately looking up. Once we got home, Ryan Patrick took a long nap, and gave us some well needed rest. As soon as we got up for napping, a friend dropped by with dinner, so today has been a pretty good day. We took the hospital photos right before we left, and posted the best of the six. Ryan Patrick also took the opportunity to get ready for the move to South Bend by sporting his Notre Dame onesie. Keep checking back, I am sure we will post many more photos.

(Please excuse all spelling and grammar errors....sleep has been kind of limited...The brain isn't working as it should. Amy)

Make Room for Baby!

It was a very long day yesterday, starting with a 5 A.M. induction, laboring for 13 hours, and ending with a C-section delivery at 6:58 P.M.

Ryan Patrick Lobato weighs 9 lbs, is 22 inches long, and is a calm little man. So far, the only resemblance to either parent that we've been able to find are his feet, which have monkey-toes like his father's, and a full head of red hair like his mom's.

Without further ado, here are the pictures from yesterday! Thank you all for your support and prayers, and we'll post more photos soon.
