OH POTTY!!!!

And on the potty front.....

Ryan Patrick went an entire day without any accidents!!!! Hooray!!!! That's right, all the pee pees and poo poos went into the potty. What a BIG BOY!!!

Now Sheba is another story....

Poor thing has developed some issues... and the vet can't see her until Friday. So to keep the puddles off the floor, the only choices where either to stay outside in the snow or this....

Poor thing. :( You can almost feel the shame.

First Snow of the Season

Thanksgiving brought food, fun, and snow. Surprise surprise, Ryan Patrick actually likes playing in it this year. (Big change from last year.) Guess there is a first time for everything.

(Unfortunately, Ryan couldn't stand still long enough for a great picture.... but we'll take what we can get.)

I'm a big girl...

Aberly has decided she needs a little more entertainment. Enter the exersaucer...

Couch Potato

I would say this is a family photo....really, it is just everyone watching TV. (Sad, I know.)

Bath Time

Navy v. ND

Okay, so we lost...it was still fun.

Although if you ask Ryan, we won! Why? 'Cause he was cheering for Navy (Yes, that's his old uniform he is wearing.)

Just the girls.

Ryan can dress himself (sort of)

Well, at least he is trying....

Roll Over

...and then she rolled...

Anyone for a smile?

Just a quick smile for everyone to see.

More Aberly (as requested by Aunt Jenny)

Beautiful Aberly

(...and some with Ryan Patrick too)

Halloween

Inspired by his outfit for the ND game (below), we decided that Ryan should be a leprechaun for Halloween. After all, this is his last year where a costume like that will really be appreciated.

We also decided to carve Jack-O-Lanterns this year:

Pre-Halloween

We met a few friends at Cold Stone Creamery to get the festivities underway.

We also all got together for some trick-or-treating through the law school. Professors and Staff opened up their offices and supplied the candy so our precious kiddos could go door to door practicing there trick-or-treating skills.

Can you pick out the leprechaun and Giraffe?

Ryan and Ryan at the ND Game

So I wanted to take Ryan with me to the ND vs. USC game, but you can't just go to an ND game without getting a little dressed up:

Rather than mess with trying to park at the stadium (always a nightmare), we just took the bike:

And, while the game was absolutely awful, Ryan really seemed to have a good time -- except for the bad calls some of the refs made. Here's Ryan's take on one of the "roughing the kicker" calls:

He did have a good time over all, though, and even got to take a picture with a local celeb:

GO IRISH!

That's Chicago

Rob and Ashley came to visit a few weeks ago. We took a quick ride around Chicago, including a brief stop at the Navy Pier and a ride on the ferris wheel, and then came back to South Bend for some R&R. Here are a few pics from the trip:
