Any guesses where we went today?

If you still haven't figure it out, this last one should be the artery clogging clue you need....

You guessed it... THE STATE FAIR!

I mean, where else can you get both Deep Fried Macaroni and Cheese AND Deep Fried Bacon Cheddar Mashed Potatoes On a Stick????

Granted, it rained the entire time we were there, but we still had a good time.

It's official!!!

Ryan is now officially a lawyer. (Well, minus the swearing in and such... minor little detail.)

But the fact of the matter is.... Ryan passed the BAR!!!

Congratulations, Honeys!!! We're so proud of you!!!

Random Photos...

...'cause I am a random kinda gal.

Ryan's new hair cut.... with a little BLUE gel. (no worries, it washes right out.)

This is what happens if you let your three you old watch you shave your legs. (Again, no worries, there was no actual razor involved.)

Our dear Aberly LOVES to swim.... we just can't seem to get it across to her that we have no pool in the livingroom.

And finally, a shot of Ryan playing on a few of our tiny little rocks out at the new house.

We Rock yet another zoo!

That's right, we found another zoo. This one was an interactive zoo. Opportunities to actually interact with the animals. Well, for as much as we "Rock" zoos, (thanks B-Mama) we had terrible luck with these animals wanting to interact with us, specifically....

Here is Ryan, waiting to feed the giraffe.... The next photo is taken two minutes after we finally gave up and walked away.... ie, not us feeding the giraffes.

The birds liked us.... funny thing is, we aren't particularly fond of birds. (By the way, a bird's tongue is wet... makes sense, but never actually given any thought to it.)

What's in the box you ask? Well, these cute little lemars are in the box, of course.

Oh yeah, these are the cute little lemurs, out of the box and eating out of some one else's hand... that's right, two minutes after we left.

The zoo also had a playground.... for 12 year olds... Do you SEE the SIZE of that SLIDE???
Aberly tried to take it on, but a mom has got to draw the line some where.

Now, the camel liked us... but that is only because we paid 5 bucks to ride him.

By the end of the day, we were all exhausted. Prime example....

First day of school and other things...

Ryan Patrick's first day of school went well. He, of course, loved it!!! The first picture is from orientation. (They were kind enough to let us in the class room.) The second picture is his actual first day. That's right... someone ELSE is walking him to class the first day of school. They wouldn't even let me walk him to class on the first day. SERIOUSLY!!!! He didn't seem to care... of course. School is so much cooler than mom. (But I am not bitter... much.)

We also went to the local Clydesdale Ranch. (You mean you don't have a local Clydesdale Ranch?) It was pretty neat. Of course, there was the massive barn, to house all the massive horses. (By the way, we don't know the girl sitting on the horse... it was just her birthday, so they let her mount up.)

Of course, our kids were more interested in the dog. Typical!

More Disney....

Ryan and I laughed for days about being at the Happiest Place on Earth. I mean, everywhere you looked there was some kid screaming or crying or just plain miserable. Yes, obviously, the happiest place on Earth. Of course, it wasn't until the last day of our trip that we discovered that the company no longer claims to be the Happiest place on Earth, Disney is now the "most magical place on Earth." We now understand the need for such a change. And, I will admit it, we saw some Magic every once in a while.

That being said....

Here are a few more photos from our Disney vacation.

One of the playgrounds where the kids enjoyed spending time.

Ryan going for a little drive with the dinosaurs.

The parade..... hello Mickey Mouse.

Belle is my hero. She was actually headed back to the dressing room and was nice enough to stop and talk to Ryan Patrick when she saw that he was upset and crying. Now THAT is the Disney Magic I had hoped to encounter.

Did we mention, we ran into "THE ROCK" while we were at Disney.

After Bar Adventures

Apparently, Wednesdays in August are 75 cent days at the Oklahoma Zoo. So we ventured out as a family while we still have Daddy home during the day.

Ever been Rhino riding???

Hanging out with the lion cubs.

A good day all around.

And the tradition continues...

Now that the bar is over, Ryan has plenty of time to do his favorite thing.... And he is teaching the kiddos his love for the 'puter. At least they make toddler games. (Everything's on the "interwebs".)

The other day we spent some time at a local water park. It wasn't a huge water park, like Splash town or Waterworld, but it did have two waterslides, a small lazy river and a cute little water play area for the kids. Ryan Patrick and Aberly loved it!

Did I mention the BAR is OVER!!!!! Now, three weeks vacation before Ryan starts his new career. We're so proud of you Ryan!!!
