She weighed 7lbs 15oz, and was 21 1/4 inches long.
We're home from the hospital and everyone's doing well. Amy's folks are here helping out for the next week or two, so that makes things much easier. I'm sure Amy will talk to all of you at some point or another and tell you the whole story so I won't go into too much detail. In short, Aberly came out sunny-side up and turned coming down the chute, bruising her face pretty badly. It's almost all gone, but she was black-and-blue for about a day and pretty swollen. She's lighter and shorter than her brother was (he was 9lbs and 22 inches), but her feet are canoes -- they're bigger than her brother's feet were when he was 5 weeks old!
Below are some pics from the whole experience, as well as a picture of our friend Erica who came over today to see the new arrival. I also put up a picture of Aberly in her Notre Dame onesie. Gotta' start them off early, you know...

Congratulations, guys. Aberly is beautiful, and looks great in her ND onesie. If I'm not mistaken, she's even putting up her dukes like the leprechaun. Maybe someday she can take over as the ND mascot, once Ryan Patrick has had graduated and passed the torch.

Welcome Aberly! Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. We can't believe how much she looks like little Ryan did! Okay...the ND pink is super cute. We definitely have to send her some Duke/Stanford gear! I'm sure Bob will have her in Sooner red in no time. Congratulations guys! Your beautiful family continues to grow. We can't wait to meet Aberly!
